Short-Term Disability (STD)

Administered by the State of New Jersey/MetLife

New Jersey Communities:

Springpoint provides employees working in New Jersey, with short-term disability income benefits through the New Jersey Temporary Disability Insurance Protection program. After seven calendar days of continuous disability, you may receive 85% of your average weekly wages, up to the maximum weekly benefit rate set for that calendar year.

Delaware Communities (Moorings at Lewes):

Springpoint provides full time employees working in Delaware with short-term disability income benefits through a private plan administered by Metlife/NJHA. Benefits match the NJ TDB listed above.

Please note: You are not eligible to receive short-term disability benefits if you are receiving workers' compensation benefits.

Voluntary Long-Term Disability (LTD)

Administered by MetLife

Voluntary Long-Term Disability (LTD) is now available to all full-time employees. The plan provides income continuation if your disability continues beyond 180 days. Deductions are made from your pay on an after-tax basis. The LTD plan provides coverage for 60% of your base salary, up to a maximum plan benefit of $10,000 per month.

You may enroll in or revoke your coverage at any time. If you enroll more than 31 days after your hire date, EOI must be submitted to and approved by MetLife for the newly elected coverage to begin.
